Footprints in the sand...

I dreamt I was walking along the beach with the Lord, across the sky I saw scenes from my life. In each, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, mine, and the Lord's. When I saw the last scene of my life, to my surprise, I noticed that at times along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints. And I saw that this was at the lowest and sadest of times. I asked; Lord,you said that once I followed you, you would walk with me all the days of my life. But during the most troublesome times I ever experienced there is only one set of footprints. Why did you leave my side when I needed you most. The Lord said; My precious child, I never left during your times of trail. Where you see only one set of footprints.... That is where I was carrying you.
