Plans were changed today. They were supposed to pick me up but plans changed. They were busy flying and having a check ride done. I am glad because I needed some extra sleep and rest, and some time with God. Tomorrow will be another long day.

The 13 year old girl that was having problems giving birth had to have a secerian section done. When the doctors cut her open to get the baby they accidentiy cut the babyís head. It was cut from the front all the way to the back of his head. How could a doctor cut the baby so much? Doctors here are terrible.
Today we went to Mitla which is where their maintenance hanger is. We cleaned and organized parts. We then sorted tools because they needed to bring some back to Oaxaca. Today was also the two year mark of when one of their missionary pilots died. He crashed into the mountains because of a faulty power lever bracket. They knew it was bad and had it on order but it takes so long to get parts here you need to have them in stock. His wife still is part of this mission and works the radio as her ministry. I did not see her around today. She probably is still having problems dealing with her husbands death.

Did a lot of microfiche work till my eyes couldnít take it; then got to go with to three different air strips. Did a lot of loading and unloading cargo. People were transported too. We hauled some missionaries and some mountain people.
This has been the most exciting, yet titing, yet transforming event. I met some people that really care about the nationals and about me. Their generosity was beyond what they should have. I was given a taste of everything on the mission field. They really took me under their (airplane) wing and gave to me the experience of what missionary aviation is all about.
