Tripoli
85 km north
of Beirut, Tripoli has a special character all its own. Known as capital
of the north, it's the second largest city in Lebanon. 45 buildings in
the city, many dating from the 14 th century, have been registered as historical
sites.(like the mosque you see here.)
There is also
a fishing port, that includes many old style boats. The people in tripoli
have a great hospitality. Many of my friends are from there.
