Hestercombe Gardens, Taunton, Somerset

The formal garden in front of the house, was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1904
and planted by Gertrude Jekyll. Behind the house is a landscaped wooded valley,
where lakes and a waterfall have been created. The house is now the headquarters
of the Somerset Fire Brigade.
