Volvo C1, (C101 CUL), an experimental bus, was used by London Transport in 1986/7. She was hard to find but eventually worked from Palmers Green garage. In this autumn 1986 view, she is pictured at Golders Green station on route 102.

|
Twenty-seven new single door Metrobuses were acquired for the Harrow area scheme. M1457 (E457 SON) was captured by the camera in Feb 1988 in Harrow bus station on route 340.

V31
|
A large batch of second-hand Volvo Ailsa's also came to London Buses, being divided between Harrow and Potters Bar. In the attractive Harrow livery, back in 1988, was V31 (JOV 781P). These wonderful machines were all withdrawn by very early in 1991.
