Retained by Sovereign at Stevenage for use as either a spare bus or coach is Leyland Tiger TP 864 (B264 KPF). In this November 1997 view in Stevenage, despite what the destination blind actually says, she was being used on crew ferry duties.

The only Volvo B6 with Sovereign at Stevenage is 601 (P601 RGS) and is quite unpopular with the drivers. Normally a dedicated vehicle on routes 383/384 this November 1997 view shows her working Stevenage town service SB1.
