Peter&Paul Cathedral at Peter and Paul Fortress
Peter and Paul Cathedral is a spot of true beauty in the Peter and Paul Fortress, where
St. Petersburg had its beginning.  This is where the Czars are interred,
including Nicholas II, whose body had been buried without ceremony by the Communists.
Before leaving, we were given a concert of Russian choral music by a small group
that sounded like a full, rich, large group -- complete with full Russian bass.
We bought two CDs of the music.
Very close to the Cathedral is the prison, with the dungeon where Lenin's brother died.
We had the chance to tour the prison.
