Moscow subway
The Metro in Moscow. The Metro is the term for subway in most of Europe.
The Communists didn't give much back to the people, but they
went all out in decorating the Moscow Metro.
There actually are subway trains running here, too, and they aren't all marked up with graffiti.
We had two guides guarding the subway car doors to make sure nobody got off
where they weren't supposed to, and our entire tour group of 44
toured the Metro to three stops. Of course,
Europeans are used to subway discipline, but about half the group were Americans,
and you know how unpredictable they are!
