I've found pictures of Kanata now.
My hometown is called Kanata. It is in Ontario, very close to Ottawa. The name Canada was actually supposed to be Kanata. It meant "meeting place" to the indians. Most people have probably never even heard of a place called Kanata.
Kanata is a pretty quiet and decent place to live.

It has several regions such as Kanata Lakes, Katimavik, Hazeldean, Bridlewood, and a couple others I'm forgetting.
There are a number of schools in Kanata. I can think of a few, Katimavik E.S., Glen Cairn P.S., Castlefrank P.S., Holy Trinity High, Earl of March High, Bell High, and there are lots more.

Kanata is also the place where the Corel Center, home of the Senators is.

Now, I have some basic information on Kanata. I got it from various places.
Kanata's population is 49,209, but that was from December of 95 so it's probably off by a mile.
Kanata is 139 square kilometers and has 80 parks, 33 ball diamonds, 23 soccer pitches, 6 outdoor rinks, 3 outdoor pools, and 13 tennis courts. I'd say that Kanata is a pretty small town. But I should know all this because I did a report in school on Kanata. *laugh* I can't believe I forgot everything already.
