Where are we now?
We can remember that first time meeting someone new and soon memories are made of those times and many to follow. So much goes on in everyone's lives, here we will take a moment and jot down where, what and with whom are daily lives are involved with. A story and a picture is all that is needed to explain how one small part of one day is spent.

Starting over again
We sold everything when we left Chico, we didn't want to store things in a garage somewhere and it made sense to simplify things and not try to pack the whole world again. Hotel living isn't that appealing but there are times when it makes some sort of sense, aren't there? It allowed us a transition period and enough time to adjust to Southern California living. When we did agree on a place to live together (Irvine,CA) we did have to start over again, a little at a time.

Handmade art can fill those blank spaces
At one time of another I have wanted to try my hand at sponge art. The kind where nobody has to figure out what it is that I'm trying to paint, they just have to like it or not, simple. The bigger the canvas, the better I say, a white bedsheet tacked onto a 4x8 sheet of plywood qualifies as big in my book. The way I understand sponge art I would start with a hue of blue, pat in some white, dab a little sand coloring, a boat shape, and a masterpiece would be born. I'll post a picture of it when I complete it.
