Shibata Midori and her son, Shibata Kouta moved to California from Japan and have settled in Irvine, CA after living in Chico, CA. It was in Chico that most of the people of Nihon, CA met. Hattori Junta and Nishikawa Emiko, the Matsumiya's, Hitomi, Asuka, and Seya lived there, Brian and Tomoe Lew lived there as well. Masa-san returned to complete his advanced degree from Cal State Chico.
All have moved from there save Masa-san who is planning to start a job in Texas soon
