It has struggled under the dominion of many conquerors, but the Sicilians live on, making do the way they always have, incorporating the new into the old.

Itinerario/Itinerary
Day one - Sunday
Arrival and transfer to Cicladi villas from Palermo Airport. Guests will be welcomed with a cocktail on the terrace at 7.p.m.Day two - Monday
A short drive into Palermo for a visit to the Vucciria Market, then a wine tasting at Enoclan followed by dinner at
Osteria Dei Vespri in Palermo!Day three- Tuesday
Cooking Lesson Number 1 or a walk up to the Greek ruins of Solinunte with a guide. A visit to Lena a twelfth century monastery outside of Cefalu for a wine tasting followed by dinner at 9.00 p.m.at Lo Scoglio Ubriaco in Cefalu.Day four- Wednesday
A visit to the Marchesa Anna Tasca Lanza's estate Regaleali in the heart of Sicily for lunch and a visit to the winery.Day five - Thursday
An early departure for Spadafora winery where we will stay with Francesco Spadafora, a very handsome prince, whose wines are as yet only appreciated in Europe. Cooking Lesson Number Three takes place out in the open - 'alla griglia'. A Sicilian barbecue!Day six- Friday
Explore the Island of Mozia, famous for its saltpans, and partake in luscious pastries at Maria Grammatico's shop in Erice. Our last night in Palermo will be spent at the luxurious Five Star Art Deco Hotel Villa Igea followed by a Gala dinner.Day 7- Saturday
Breakfast and departure for Palermo Airport.
