Montreal and Southern Counties Railway Company (01 November 1909 - 13 October 1956)
Incorporated 29 June 1897 (Dom.) by Montreal Park and Island Railway Company interests. Construction financing arrangements resulted in control passing to the Grand Trunk Railway circa 1906 and at the latter's bankruptcy, the M&SC became a part of Canadian National Railways, in 1920. Formal opening ceremonies held 30 October 1909 (RFC). Suburban service from Montréal to Saint-Lambert, Montreal South, Longueuil, Greenfield Park, Mackayville, and Brookline. Interurban service to Chambly, Richelieu, Marieville, Sainte-Angrave;
le-de-Monnoir, Saint-Césaire, Saint-Paul-d'Abbotsford, and Granby.
