The beautiful islands of Fiji are located just 4 hours flying time from Australia's east coast.  They are set in truly magical surroundings with an inviting tropical climate, lush vegetation and white sandy beaches.
Nadi is the gateway to Fiji and home to the main international airpor.  Nadi town has almost a mile of duty free tourist stores and a surprisingly colurful market.

Fiji enjoys a tropical maritime climate with maximum summer temperatures from November through to April.  This can also be the time for tropical rain and cyclone activity.  Summer temperatures average 30 degrees celcius, winter temperatures 26 degrees celcius.
 
 
 

My duration in my second destination delight, Fiji, is five days.  It is true to say that I love good weather and getting a suntan.  Whenever possible in Fiji I will be worshipping the sun and relaxing with a book looking on to the golden sands and sea.  Therfore I have booked a hotel to stay at while in Fiji to take advantage of this, despite the many island cruises that are available.
