Chapter 3
Jetlagged

Sunday, July 12th 1992

I woke up around 10 to 10 and that was the last effects of jetlag.

I didn't have anything planned for today -- I just wanted to get over the plane trip (I thought the jet lag would be worse) -- so I just walked around the area and checked out the place.

I went to a Toy's-R-Us down Harbor Boulevard which is a huge supermarket filled with nothing but toys, then looked at a few other places.

Then I tried out Mickey D's -- they had a great burger called a Swiss Grill which had a burger and mushrooms -- brilliant and a pity they don't have them in Australia. Their shakes are actual milkshakes not thickshakes like Australia. The little differences.

On the news it said that today was the wettest day in history in LA although it didn't rain in Anaheim. Seven people died in car crashes because of the wet weather. Another person was shot dead.

Now to the travelogue! This'll take some time so I hope I don't bore you too much. Sit down, get a drink [or a whole bottle maybe] and put your feet up ...
