LiLi’s Weekend Gabs - Mac4Wk98 (Bogged downed - RAMOS assignment)

Entry: 29.3.1998

Hi people!

Summary of feelings of yours truly for the week :

Tired, sleepy : Almost everyday because batteries were not recharged until today. Didn't work late everyday - just maybe 7pm to 8pm on average.

Sad : That the consultants left on Saturday.

Frustrated/mad : At the Koreans for putting me up to another assignment (I don't mind the assignment which is quite challenging, but I do mind the deadline). I really dunno how to handle my time anymore.

As of now, trying to pysche myself up for the week ahead. Urgh... I hate Mondays!

So this week's KOKA KOLA HOT HITS tak ada banyak perubahan. Went to jog on Saturday because I was just furious about Saturday's meeting (missed lunch) where the new assignment came in. Let's just put it this way - I'm going to say Sayonara to Samsung after I complete what I should do. The deadline is stupid - I've got other stuffs to take care of (to which the GM told my local IS Manager to lessen my other burden - so that the silly *%% fella could get what he wants on time). The deadline is also stupid because there's isn't much proper study done on the requirements and I don't think proper testing will be carried out. I really hate the Korean culture! I've always been self-motivated even into doing things which I don't really like but it's getting quite tough to do so when you feel like you're being "used".

Other than that, hey, life's pretty cool. Finally finished the Patricia Cornwell's novel. I think it's lost it's thrill/suspense since I only managed to read a few pages per day. Well, I shall stop reading novels for the moment and try to finish other non-fiction books. Bought two books - one cookbook (which I doubt I'll start to do some real cooking unless I stay out on my own!) and a book on magic tricks with cards (Popular bookstore having sales). Ah... wait till I learn up all those tricks - already practised on 2 tricks which is should be fun to try on others. Also bought Bryan Adam's MTV Unplugged - loved the unplugged versions!
