Hi people!
Nearly dreaded this weekend 'coz I thought I'd have to write another story about how I spend my time at home! Fortunately saved by my uncle who suggested going to visit KLIA and also Suria KLCC. Hell, I'd prefer nature places instead but then it beats the thought of staying at home.
Four cars went. My uncle and family of five lah, another uncle with family of four, my auntie's sister and family of four, my granny, my mom and me. Mom decided to drive - I gladly let her, else I would be driving with an unstoppable noise on my left ear (if you know what I mean). Okay, okay... it's not nice to say this, especially since it's mother's day. Wow... come to think of it, mom, the ultimate "worrier" managed to drive to KLIA and also to the heart of Kuala Lumpur - now, that's something...
What can I say about KLIA? It's a big place but not officially open yet - so we didn't get to go inside the building. There were quite a number of "visitors" like us too. I snapped a few pictures (trying to finish the roll of film left from the Jeramtoi trip - well Ah Tiong, I still got 8 more shots to go before I can develop them). I also let my cheeky ten-year-old cousin sister try her hands on taking pictures. Mmm... I'm pretty curious on whether she's got a knack in photography.... unlike me...!
The place is HOT, HOT, HOT.... Read about airport in a forest or forest in an airport concept but didn't managed to see it. Maybe I was looking at the wrong places. Anyhow, this definitely wouldn't be my last visit as I didn't get to witness the inside architecture of the airport.
As for Suria KLCC, was disappointed with the fact that we didn't explore the park
outside the shopping mall. Went jalan-jalan ... so many people lah.... My cousin
sister of course reminded me [*Chuckle, :-) ] again to take some pictures when we went
to see the fountain display at the mall's entrance.
Managed to see Gary Thanasan (the Lingo host) as well at Parkson Grand.
Other than that, you know how I dread shopping.... Ew... like I said, it's pretty crowded. It also felt like that it's as if Malaysians aren't really in deep shit with the sliding economic situation. Of course, what am I saying... those people who go to KLCC mesti "loaded" punya. Yikes, that makes me a hypocrite coz I also went there right....? Well, of course I'm not those loaded punya orang - just curious punya orang. Sometimes, I must think carefully before I write things. I could've deleted the lines I wrote, but I'll tell you something... my weekend stories has so far been written straight from the heart (ahem, actually, mind). Not much editing...
I write with a vision that you are all in front of me listening. So it's pretty easy for me to blab things. So "cheong hei", eh?
That's about it... If I'm lucky next month, maybe I'll be writing about Singapore.... hope so. Really hope so (Lee May, you shall be my saviour next month?). If not, hidup banyak susah... Kaki gatal but "barred" from venturing... Doreen... when are you coming back...!!!
Regards,
Li Li
