Instructions:

Warning: This application is a prototype realised by Laurent Pieraut and Francis Pieraut.
This application compressed video 16bits/pixel RGB to 8bits/pixel GRAY.
First, you should have a Video grabber on your system and the appropriate drivers installed.
We test our program with Avermedia video grabber (NTSC-M).

Place captest3.exe and header_gray_8bits.bmp MPGVideoCompressor.zip
in the same directory

execute captest3.exe and you will see

Set Image Dimentions(320X240) and Image Format(15 bit RGB)
Now you should see somthing like that:

To apply change press "enter"
change exemple: DCT scale 16
change exemple: search area 4
