It is very easy, fly into athens and i must say ,people flying into athens will exprience the new airport of Athens called Elefrios Venizelos which will be open from April 2001. it is meant to be the most up standard airport of Europe . No more delays flying into athens will be a breeze.

Then simply go down to the port of Pireus by taxi or bus , catch the hydrofoil over to Aegina or Agia marina, it only takes 35 minutes or you can catch the ferry for a longer journey on the island thats if you enjoy sailing on the sea.

Don't worry you will always find a hotel or an arpartment and it is not at all expensive . You can also get to this fantastic island by tour operaters simply ask you local travel agency about Aegina , and they will be happy to tell you about this lovely island.All this just to get to this island and it is worth it. Simply visit the island and you will be back.That is a promise.!!!!!!!!!!
