relaxing after a hard day of drinking wine...

the cabin we rented was in the middle of a forest of eucalyptus trees - the only food that the wild koala will eat - we knew they were near

we went for a walk as the sun was setting

some weird plants or shoul i say weird parents?

framed by the wheat, they searched unsuccessfully for the elusive wild koala

and thus began the CLARE KOALA PROJECT (not to be confused with the Blair Witch Project)

We survived to see the dawn and....
a pack of alpacas!

After the excitement of the alpacas we needed a coffee break, but it was difficult for the North Americans to figure out the coffee culture in Australia

it doesn't look that hard, does it?

We, or course, then got back to the serious wine tasting and touring
