Mother/Daughter - Senior Invitational
6/16/99
Unfortunately I was not able to attend this year, but I have had very positive feedback on the annual event.  Once again the daughters were triumphant over the mothers.  Thank you to all the mothers that participated I hear you gave them a challenge, please don't feel bad.  You must remember your daughters do this twice a week each summer,  you only get one day.  I was told that the Senior game was close till the end as well.
Thanks go out to the volunteers that made this a success again and to the generousity of local businesses that donated to the event.  As soon as I can get a list I will post that information for those of you that might like to write them a letter of thanks.
If any of you would like to write a little something about the games I will post it on the WALL.  The WALL has been very quiet, if you get bored why not stop by and pop some bubble wrap.

Schedule Update
5/17/99
Updated schedules for each team have been placed on the download page.  We apologize for any inconvienience you may have suffered due to an outdated schedule.  The version currently available for download in either .doc or .pdf format is the schedule we intend on following for the remainder of the season.  At this point, any games that may be canceled due to weather will not be re-scheduled.

Glove Program
4/30/99
This is our daughter's fourth year with the league ... And her third glove.  Given the rate these girls are growing it could be possible to go through three or four gloves in the course of a Little Miss career.  Unlike shoes, after a summer these are still  in good shape.  We would like to develop a system in which parents can recycle these old gloves.
It can be dangerous for a child to use a glove that is either too big or too small.  For that reason, we would like to set up a system by which parents of girls needing a glove can get a good used one (Gloves get better with age).  While those with a glove they no longer need can recover some of it's cost.
I feel a program like this would be very successful.  Used gloves can be bought, sold, traded or even donated to the league.  What a great way to donate to the equipment fund.
We welcome suggestions and would like to know if anyone would be interested in helping to develop and/or coordinate this program.
