We are just a few days away from Ecw�s big return to the most famous bingo hall in the world as ECW is back live on Saturday April 18th which is what should settle most of the of the questions that are up in the air regarding ECW stars and what�s going to happen with WrestlePalooza �98 coming live on Pay Per View Sunday May 3rd.More about this night and more coming up.... We start off with Joel Gertner who said he went down to bring this team into ECW- its the Bushwhacker Dudleys? All this from Florida... Sign Guy Dudley brings along a sign with "They are hardcore" Joey Styles reminds us not to change the channel, its Gertner�s idea. Sandman and Dreamer around ringside seeming to be laughing at the artifacts- Sandman goofing on the walk of the Bushwhackers, but from behind its Buh Buh and DVon, apparently a trap in which we get the 3 d on Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Dreamer set up by Gertner and the Dudleys, Sandman was dropped down wrong, he looked like he was hurt after that 3D he got. Dreamer and Sandman now both tied up in the ropes, Sandman gets hit with the cane and Dreamer with the chair, then Sign Guy pours beer on both of them- but wait 2 Cold Scorpio hits the ring and he comes to the aid of his partners, but he�s met by Big Dick Dudley and Scorpio gets hit with the 3D as well. Three weeks before the PPV, the Dudleys have made their mark in ECW in a big way. Back to the ring and help in the ring, Sandman needing medical attention, Joey on camera now, doing the opening and the show has come to a complete halt- to keep things flowing we have cued up a video package on Rob Van Dam, Bam Bam Bigelow and Sabu- this back to last week�s show in Buffalo in which Van Dam beat Bigelow and won the ECW World Television Title but then that sets up the match at WrestlePalooza in which now Sabu still gets his title shot, but this against Van Dam. The two have had a tentative relationship at best lately, but lets see how this gets resolved and even more so what happens with Bill Alfonso. Back to the show as we have still nothing yet from Sandman�s condition- well its to fan cam footage from other Florida shows as its Sabu vs Fatu. Fatu of course, the Tonga Kid, etc. Fonsie sets Fatu on the table and Sabu puts him through the table, now we get RVD masquerading as Sabu again as he gets into the match as you�d think now he�s not making anything easier and its going to make things tougher for Bill Alfonso to keep his manager of the year status keeping them together. Both men in the ring and they continue fighting over that belt. Joey going over the card for WrestlePalooza as he talks about Sabu/RVD on that show and others. One of the matches was to be Sandman & Tommy Dreamer vs the Dudleys, but after what happened in Ft Lauderdale to the Sandman after the actions of the Dudleys, Gernter and the set up including the Bushwhackers, Tommy Dreamer may need to get himself another partner for Sunday May 3rd. Back to the show as we see a Ft Lauderdale paramedic truck but Joey says as much as he�d like to talk about WrestlePalooza the situation with the Sandman is far too pressing, we see footage of him being taken in the back as they�re getting him ready for the hospital making sure not to cause a problem with that neck- we see Lori Fullington as she�s of course upset as what we see. Well there is a show to do tonight as we get to match in which its a preview as its Balls and Axl vs Storm and Candido. Lance using a steel chair against Balls head and it seems like its takes a few to land Mahoney, well Lance just knocked out Candido with a chair , and Axl Rotten about to pin Candido, but Storm makes the save to make sure that he doesn�t get fired. Candido back up and Axl with a pair of clotheslines. Balls Mahoney needed to be helped out of the ring and it seems like Axl will be having this match alone, this while Storm and Axl outside the ring-- Candido in the ring holding up the tag team title belts. Back to action after some spots and Axl doing well in this match alone- Axl now with Storm up for the SST, severe skull trauma, Storm now out, not by that, but by Candido misdirecting the dive by the top, Candido stealing the glory again as Storm stuns Axl, but Candido gets the pinfall. Storm thrown out of the ring, then after the match, we have Danny Doring and the angry Amish roadkill coming out, but they get met by Axl Rotten and a chair, now back to the ring, Storm getting thrown into the guardrail by Candido. Candido calling the one on one match with Storm right now as he first off with the baseball slide and then Storm gets set up on the table. Storm now with a series of chops onto Candido and spin kick almost decapitating him. Candido showboating, even though Balls and Axl lost this match they have to be loving the fact that Candido and Storm now beating the hell out of each other. Candido now with Storm in that vertical suplex. Now a series of chops in the ring between the two- Storm now paint brushing Candido in the ring corner, yes its the tag team champions beating the hell out of each other just a few weeks before the PPV. Storm wins the match but you still have to wonder why they just can�t get along, they could be the greatest tag team not only perhaps in ECW, but in the entire business. Before we get to a rematch between the FBI and Blue Meanie and Super Nova, but before we get that its a replay of what happened again to the Sandman and how he landed on his head, seeing that neck just crack, the way that they dropped the Sandman it looked like they tried to break him in half and then after that Sandman gets a cane shot to the head from DVon. Now to live footage is the Sandman being wheeled towards the ambulance. Joey not seeing that footage , there has been of course a history of technical problems with that building in Fort Lauderdale. Sandman in the ambulance on his way to the hospital. Now to fan cam footage, Shane arriving and Candido catching him bragging about how he beat both Balls and Axl and how he defended the triple threat name. Shane of course with that elbow in the sling and Francine worried about that arm and elbow as it still needing some medical attention. Back to action it was supposed to be Kronos vs Chris Chetti- but Bigelow and Candido and Douglas and Francine in the ring-- Kronos gets thrown through a table, and then Douglas chastising Chetti about his being Taz�s cousin. Douglas saying that its been a year that Chetti�s been around and when it was a year for him, he was working for Bill Watts, but Douglas "outs" Chetti as Taz�s cousin. We have Taz making his way down to the ring and Shane wants to see if he wants to finish it on the arm, Chetti tries to intervene, but he gets suplexed by his own cousin. Taz in the ring with Douglas and then we cut to a shot of Paul E with a security, then we have Douglas yelling at Paul E. Taz maybe pissed that Al Snow got his title shot, no title shot for him. There was a man named Stan Hansen Shane reminds us about that he wants to give Taz the chance to snap Shane�s arm, but if he does, Bigelow and Candido will beat the hell out of him. Douglas now calling Taz a pussy as he wants him to break his ar, but Taz did in fact snap it as they hit the mat, and Candido and Bigelow try to pull him off of it. Now we get Bigelow and Taz outside of the ring but what does this mean for WrestlePalooza?????? What does this mean for the Arena this weekend?????
