| The Indiana Pacer Players are still upset about trading Antonio Davis for Jonathan Bender. The Pacer organization was just thinking about their future. In three years time, everybody will be delighted with this trade. Not that Antonio Davis isn't a good player, but with Jackson, Miller and Smits gone by this time, they would not have to look elsewhere to acquire their superstar. The future of the Indiana Pacers looks to be in very good hands. Jalen Rose will soon be the main man and Austin Croshere not far back. Imagine a 6-10 player with a skill of a shooting guard. A few years time, Bender would make your imagination come true. Larry Bird says that this kid will be great. As of the moment, Bender is very young and very raw. He plays only during garbage time. However, during garabage time, you would see the quickness and the shooting of Jonathan Bender. The first season that Bender will see action as a regular part of the rotation, Bender will play the two and three spot. He will become instant offense of the bench. As he gets older, Bender will eventually become a power forward. Like Garnett, he would eventually become a lit bit bulkier and ready to play the post. However, Bender seems to have the quickness of screens and the one-on-one dribbling that Garnett does not have. | |||||||||||||||||
| If Bender is blessed with good health and brought up correctly, Bender will eventually become an MVP candidate as Garnett is today. And if Harrington develops too, Indiana could have the deadliest front court in the whole NBA. However, we still have to wait for a couple of more years for the sun to shine for the NBA Future Star. | |||||||||||||||||
