Demarr Johnson

A year ago, Demarr Johnson already had his sights in the NBA. He attempted to follow the draft situation of Corey Maggette. He chose to stay in school for only one year and play for one of the prennial teams.

With this years draft much weaker, Demarr should have a better situation that Maggette has. With the loaded potential this man has, it would be hard for any team to pass him up if they are looking for the greatest potential.

Johnson has an inside and outside game that would become lethal when his game matures even more. Scouts really love his skills because he has great size, can knock down the rock, can take the ball to the hoop, can pass and can rebound. In other words, the man has the total package.
The only weakness of Demarr is that they say he sometimes shows lack of intensity. Maybe this is because Cincinnati just blows the opposing team away an that he does not find a challenge against is opponents. At often times, the talent steps up to the level. In the NBA, expect Demarr to learn and to work hard because he would expect superstars coming at him every NBA night. For Demarr to progress in the NBA, he must find the right situation where he could be given the minutes to improve his game. If he goes to a situation where he would find himself in the bench, it would have been better to develop his game in the college game rather than developing it in the bench.
