Khalid El-Amin is a player with great heart. Although I am all for him, El-Amin declared in a deep point guard draft which he is not rated at the top. He also did not follow a greater year after the championship year. The Huskies struggled and El-Amin was one of the few lone bright spots.
Regardless how bad the Husky season went, we can not take away the effort that El-Amin gave. El-Amin is not one of the top flight point guards. However, he can become a solid point guard. He would fit as a role player for a championship team. And make no mistake about it, El-Amin knows how to run a championship. Although he is not a superstar, El-Amin would be a good piece to form a championship.
