A.J. Guyton is a player caught between two positions. He is a shooting guard in a point guard's body. In the NBA, he will be asked by teams to play point guard position. Well he may not be drafted in the lottery, but teams will be enticed to draft him. He will be drafted somewhere between the middle of the first round to late first round. An example of a player like him is Shammond Williams. Williams may not have been drafted in the first round, but now he is playing as the starting point guard of the Sonics in the playoffs. | Guyton would fit into two situations. He could play the point guard position for a team like Seattle who loves to play Gary Payton at the two. Or Guyton could be a energized and scoring punch off the bench. Scoring wise, Guyton is one of the best scoring guards in the draft. Any team that needs scoring would take a good look at him. If Guyton shows teams and scouts that he can play the point, if might just overtake some of the point guards on top and be surely drafted not later than the middle of the first round. | |||||||||||||||||
