The sixth man of the runner-up Florida Gators will be going pro. Donell Harvey is testing the NBA waters and already has signed with an agent is there is no turning back. Harvey would have benefited another year from college. However, he has given up his college eligibility. Donell Harvey has talent. He has power, quickness and a good work ethic. Harvey is very active both in the offensive and defensive rebound. He is also very athletic and has great leaping ability. He won the 1999 High School Slam Dunk to prove his athletic ability. | |||||||||||||||||
| However, Donell Harvey is very raw. He has yet to improve on all his offensive moves. He still does not have a post up game nor an outside jumper. And when he enters the NBA, he would be a substitute getting only spare playing time. Until he improves his offensive game and solidify his defensive game, expect Harvey to take some time before he makes a mark in the NBA. | |||||||||||||||||
