Three Cincinnati Bearcats try to get into the first round of the NBA Draft 2000. Kenyon Martin looks like a lock for the lottery pick while Demarr Johnson seems to be one of the top players too. Pete Mikael meanwhile tries to attempt to get into the first roud. However, Kenyon Martin is clearly the leader of the Bearcats. Without him, they were unable to get deep into the NCAA Tournament. He is a perfect example of why an underclassman should stay one more year in school. Martin has elevated his game to a whole new level. | |||||||||||||||||
| The College Player of the Year(Naismith, Wooden, USBWA), Kenyon Martin has potential written all over his name. He averaged 18.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.4 blocked shots. More mature in the defensive end, Martin became a serious offensive threat by developing a mid-range jumper. He suffered a season-ending leg injury but the leg is expected to be back to full strength and not to hamper much is draft status. | |||||||||||||||||
