The Supersonics and the Magics might some day regret trading Corey Maggette. Currently a member of the Clippers, it not might be long that he will be the hottest commodity when he wants out of Clipper land. The Clippers are so young and inexperience that Maggette will get his minutes to develop. Remember what happened to Larry Hughes when he got out of Philly? Well, Maggette might even be better. Maggette's full potential is really years away. He was so young when he entered the draft that he fell at 13th. Well, Kobe was drafted at 13th too. Corey Maggette might just make a big leap during the 2001-02 season if he stays as a Clipper. With Richardson, Miles and Dooling very young and raw, Maggette will get more minutes and will get more shoots. With a year already under his belt, Maggette can apply a few out of the many things he has picked up from the hard working Orlando Magics and Doc Rivers. With hardwork this summer, Maggette might just have a big impact on the Clippers next season. He will eventually be a hot commodity within a year or two. | |||||||||||||||||
