Quentin Richardson stock has drop considerably. Scouts thought he was a lottery pick before the year had starter. Now that the college season is over, they say he has dropped back to somewhere in the middle of the first round. However, Quentin is a better player than they rate him to be. That is why I am high on him. Quentin is another player who has a problem with size and shooting. Given the talent he has, Quentin will eventually develop a shooting touch. After all, it took sometime for Jerry Stackhouse or Jason Kidd to improve their shooting. | |||||||||||||||||
| For the meantime, Richardson will excel in the prog game by attacking the rim and relentless rebounding. Despite his lack of size, he is an absolute work horse in the offensive and defensive board. He has a great leaping ability that will show in the next level. He may be more of a power forward at the moment, but his game will eventually become a small forward or a shooting guard. It took sometime for Jerry Stackhouse to get his game but it will take less time for Richardson. Richardson has better work ethic, better rebounding and is much more passive than Stackhouse in the offensive end. Until he develops a solid mid-range jumper, he will not be as an explosive scorer that Stackhouse is no. None the less, watch for Quentin to make believers out of the scouts. | |||||||||||||||||
