Believe it or not, the North American Fight Club would not be a fight club without rules. Anywhere you go, there must be laws. The following are those of the NAFC.
In the NAFC, there are three styles of fighting.
1) Wrestling
2) Boxing
3) Ultimate FightingWrestling: Wrestling is wrestling. No DDT's or Piledrivers or anything of the sort display themselves. It is college and/or high school style of wrestling. How you attain victory is by pinning your opponent to the mat for a count of 'one.'
Boxing: Again, boxing is boxing. This contest does require proper boxing gloves. In the NAFC, hitting with a bare knuckle will earn a disqualification with stipulations pending. Always remember safety first. How you attain victory is by KO (Knock Out) or TKO (Technical Knock Out). A 'KO' is knocking your opponent completely out to the point where he/she cannot defend himself/herself. A 'TKO' is knocking your opponent down to the point where he is stationed for a 'ten count' on the ground.
Ultimate Fighting: This is the official contest of the North American Fight Club. Each person puts one glove on the hand of his/her choice. The other hand is bare. In this contest, anything goes. Yes that is right, anything goes. The free, bare hand may not hit above the chest area on the other opponent. Two warnings may be issued for this violation. A third warning will also result in a disqualification by the perpetrator.
In any of these three contests, there are these general rules.
1) No Biting
2) No Eye Gouging
3) No Groin ShotsThis is not a sport for the weak. Please play smart and always, and this cannot be stressed enought...always have an official or referee to maintain order and watch for the safety of the combatents.
Another question that might arise in the minds of all aspiring fighters is, "How do we decide what type of match to have?" The answer is this. It is completely up to the fighters on what kind of contest to pursue. Making a fighter do something he/she is not comfortable with is not how any fight club should work. If an agreement cannot be reached, a mediator will be needed to work something out between the both of them.
Remember, have fun, but BE SAFE.
