Do
at least 2 times a week at game speed.
- Warm-up
Ball Handling (10 times each)
- Circles
– clockwise (CW)
- Overhead
- Waist
- Knees
- Right
leg
- Left
leg
- Reverse
circles – counter clockwise (CCW). Start with left leg and work back to
head.
- Figure
8 between legs – CW & CCW
- Scissors
– CW & CCW
- Figure
8 – One bounce (bounce ball between legs) – CW & CCW
- Figure
8 – Two bounces (bounce ball outside leg and in between legs) – CW &
CCW
- Rhythm
- Popcorn
– 1 or 2 balls
- Shoot
five (5) free throws and record.

Drills (30 seconds for speed and 60 seconds for endurance)
- Lay-up/Rebound
Drill, one bounce dribble out and one bounce dribble in – Right (R) &
Left (L)

Step/ power lay up – R & L

- Dribble
in the key, jump stop, pivot change to right or left hand.

in the key, cross over between legs

five (5) free throws and record

Drills: Do each 10 times or make 10 shots.

stop/ pivot on inside foot – square up

stop/pivot on one foot (reverse pivot) – square up
- Triple
threat shooting – check elbow, knee and basket line up (lock); check wrist
wrinkle and ball (load) before you shoot. Say lock and load to check yourself
before you shoot.
