Yah! The Stars won, they beat the Maple Leafs (which meant, in chat, that all the bandwagon Leaf fans weren't in last night...) and Brett Hull got his 611th goal to break the tie he was in with his father. Yah for Brett and all, but now can we go back to focusing on the TEAM instead of ONE PLAYER?!? But the boys don't get (much) of a break: they face Carolina tonight. We get to see Derian and Kevin Hatcher beat up each other (which could prove to be fun to all those who hate their own siblings...) and hopefully the boys will win, because Carolina isn't exactly one of the strongest teams in theleague.

Well, we lost. The fact that we're winless isn't what's bothering
me. The fact that we lost isn't what's bad, either. And I can
stand that we lost to Ottawa; they're a decent team. But, WHY DID
WE HAVE THE BE THE FIRST TEAM TO LET THAT USELESS PIECE OF DOG TRASH ALEXI
YASHIN SCORE A GOAL?!?!?! AARGH!!!! Oh, well...at least Jon
Sim's supposed to rejoin the team (broken left scalpula (shoulder blade)...that
must REALLY bite...) by the time they get home next week, assuming that
they don't send him down to Utah. Or, that's what I read on Cnnsi.com...

Well, we (as in the Stars) won the cup. That's totally cool. It may be known as the most tainted Stanley Cup in history, because lots of Sabres fans have been whining about it (read, www.nogoal.com), not to mention a few Sabre players and coaches. Of course, being the owner of a Quality site, I would NEVER mention names. *coughing, hacking sounds that sounds a lot like Ruff and Juneau*. Sorry...there was a frog in my throat. *hears evil giggles from her friends* NOT THAT KIND OF FROG!!! God, this is a Family Website....god, keep my like of a certain former Bruin/Cap/Sabre/Sen/Wild who's now a Yote who looks like a stoned seal out of this!!! .oO(There goes my PG rating....)
I did see a pic of Hull's goal, and it did look like Hull's size thirteens (or whatever his shoe size is) were in the crease, but I was camping and didn't see the game. Also, everyone, including the refs, had almost played/reffed two games. The refs were bound to make a mistake. I still think that if it Peca, Sanderson, Juneau, Brown, Satan, or some other Sabre had scored, and if the win meant the Sabres would have won the Cup, noone would be complaining about it. Oh, well...
