This page is created for Matthew Lanman. A black belt in American Kenpo Karate. Originally from Ohio, he trained with Lou Laird. Now he lives near Chicago, Illinois, and trains with the Academy of Self Defense in Evergreen Park, Illinois, headed by Ray Pohl. He has trained in arts such as Tae Kwon Do and Shoalin Kung Fu, and Praying Mantis Kung Fu. He has trained with Kenpo greats--Huk Planas, Lee Wedlake, Martin Wheeler, and Joe Palanzo,and Jeff Speakman. He is available for private lessons.
