Since, it is getting so close to the close of the season, let me lay down some opinions. First, the MVP for the National League will be one
of two men. Robin Ventura or Edgardo Alfonzo. Rookie of the Year shouldn't really go to anyone because no one has had standout years, but I'm
gonna have to say Joe McEwing, Benny Agbayani, or if he steps up like last year, even J.D. Drew. Preston Wilson's back is too shoddy and he
won't keep it up. Another candidate is Alex Gonzalez, but I doubt he'll win. For the Cy Young, it should be Jose Lima. Hank Aaron should go
to Sammy Sosa or Mark McGwire. American League MVP should be Manny Ramirez or Derek Jeter. Rookie of Year will be either Freddy Garcia or
Carlos Beltran. Cy Young BETTER go to Pedro Martinez. Expect a ton of crazy Boston fans if not. Hank Aaron goes to Manny or Jeter like the MVP.
As for playoffs, look for Cincinnati to out play Houston and for the Braves to fall back to wild card. Oakland is my favorite for the wild
card in the AL. I see the World Series as being Yankees defeat Diamondbacks or Cincinnati 4-1. Arizona and Cincinnati both are good against
other good teams whereas the Mets and Braves both slightly lack in that. Now that Cone is back on track, there is no stopping the Bronx Bombers.
