Sunday Night Heat
June 13, 1999
James Pannell

Mental Note: This week, the Sable bit that usually ran during the credits of the movie before Heat was replaced by the same kind of clip with the Undertaker, who is much prettier.

We begin this week's show with a video montage of the Higher Power saga and the introduction of CEO Stone Cold Steve Austin.  An ultra cool video sequence later, and we are not live with Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly.
Well, if it isn't a ring of fire.  That can only mean one thing.  No, not Satan, the BROOD!!!!!!!  The masters of evil make their way to the ring, and we are treated to a shower of blood.  We see a chronicle of the Hardy Boyz/Brood feud.
In the ring, Gangrel and the Hardyz exchange a number of moves, leading to Gangrel being eliminated by Jeff.  Soon, Edge is in, and as Jeff Hardy goes for some flying maneuver, Edge NAILS the spear on both Hardyz and Michael PS Hayes.  Edge is taken outside and DDTed onto the concrete.  Matt drags him back into the ring and covers, leaving only Christian to defend against the Hardyz.  Christian quickly eliminates Hayes of course and proceeds to land  a Tamikaze on Jeff Hardy, face first onto the mat and cover for the three count.  Christian and Matt exchange some decent moves, and just as Matt is about to put it away, Too Much(in new scary attire) come out, distracting Matt and allowing Christian to get the pin, also by Tamikaze.
Winners: The Brood, thanks to Christian
Before the break, D-Lo and Mark Henry yack about how they are going to be facing the Acolytes tonight for the belts.

Commercials

After the break, we cut to a locker room, where Chyna and Mr. Ass are setting up their strategy. We cut to the ring, where the Acolytes are making their way in.  Next we see D-Lo and Henry, this week without scarf.

As action begins, all four men brawl at first until D-Lo gets double teamed and slammed, eventually its just he and Bradshaw, and D-Lo escapes when he hits a swinging neckbreaker. Henry comes in, and he goes down with a boot from Bradshaw, he counters with a mega powerslam, but Farooq makes the save. All four men in the ring and D-Lo goes outside with Bradshaw as Farooq takes a huge boot. Bradshaw comes back in and gets a clothesline by Henry, Bradshaw is down and D-Lo climbs on Henry's shoulders and Mideon and Viscera come down and throw him off, Match ends w/ DQ. Ministry continues to beat on them, Viscera splashes both men.
Winners: D-Lo and Henry by DQ(no belts

Next, Jerry the King Lawler interviews Test about his date with Stephanie McMahon.  Test says that they had a very nice night, but that they just decided to remain friends.  Lawler is almost as upset as I am about not getting to hear any sordid raunchy sex stories.  Jeff Jarrett strolls by with the puppies, and warns Test to keep his eyes off of Debra.

Commercials - Might I just say how creepy these sweating wrestler dolls are!

After the break, Debra(w/puppies) and Jeff Jarrett come out. Unimportant note: JJ is upset that JR introduced Debra first.  JR asks JJ how much McMahon paid him to do what he did to Shamrock.  JJ does not give a straight answer, YAWN!! Finally Debra's turn, but her spotlight is taken by JJ who says she is not interested in anybody but him, blah blah blah, Test comes out and challenges JJ for later tonight.  Jarrett apparently finds Test quite studly.  We cut to commercials as Hardcore(HA!) Holly and the Big Show discuss their strategy for the evening.

Commercials

When we return, Too Much do a little interview.  Apparently this pair thinks they are ghetto now, so from now on they will be Too Cool.  Whatever!  We cut to the ring, where we are treated to four separate entrances for the evenings first of two elite eight tag matches.  X-Pac, Kane, Hardcore(HA!) Holly, and the Big Show all make their way to the ring, in that order.

Xpac starts the action with Holly because of Holly's demand that Big Show sit his big ass in the corner and watch and learn. Holly hits an atomic drop and a clothesline, then he gets a heelkick. Big Show calls for a tag, but is blown off. This causes him to get mad and chokeslam Holly(YEAH!!!!!!) Holly gets pinned.
Winners: X-Pac and Kane
After the match, HHH, Chyna and Mr. Ass do a little interview. You know there might just be a queen of the ring this year.

Commercials- Rescue of the Week-Nicole Bass dumps Val Venis

When we get back, HHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLOOOOOO LADIES!!!! Val Venis pimps his way to the ring and does his little towel spin thing.  As Droz and Prince Albert make their way to the ring, we see a clip from Monday night with the two puking on Michael Cole's shoes, now why didn't I think of that.

As the match begins, Venis hits a spinebuster early, but is distracted by Prince Albert.  He gets clotheslined by Droz, who mimics the money shot and misses terribly. Val Hits a powerslam, and then does the real money shot for the win.
Winner: Val Venis
After the match, Prince Albert nails that full body press into a fall away slam. Droz and he then pierce the porn king's nose.

Commercials
After the break, Prince Albert tells Venis how lucky he is that he got to be used as his canvas.  Val is not quite so appreciative, and attacks the two.  We cut to the ring, where Test is already making his entrance. Jarrett soon follows, and the action starts out quick.

Test early on hits a sidewalk slam, then he hits a nice gutwrench powerbomb, followed by a clothesline. He goes up top, but on the way down he gets booted in the face by Jarrett. Russian Legsweep by JJ and he is in command. Test comes back with a Fireman's Carry FlapJack, then the ref gets bumped and knocked out. JJ hits the forward legsweep, but Shamrock comes down and beats on him and gives him a belly to belly. Test gets the three count, but Some ref comes down and argues, but to Harvey(Downtown Bruno) it does not matter. Then Debra goes over and whispers something, so he runs to Test, takes the belt away, and hightails it out like a little bitch as Test is hot on his trail.
Winner: Jeff Jarrett by DQ maybe
We cut to commercials with Mr. Ass and Chyna making their way to the ramp for their entrances.

Commercials

When we return, the final four King of the Ring contestants make their entrances, and we are ready for the final match of the night- Road Dogg/Shamrock vs. Chyna/Mr. Ass.

Shamrock starts against Mr. Ass, and he is doing well, with a sidekick and a clothesline. He then sees JJ in the back, and runs after him leaving Road Dogg alone. RD starts beating on Mr. Ass pretty badly. He goes for Shake Rattle &Roll, but Chyna gets in a low blow. After a little more brawling, Road Dogg counters the fameasser into a pumphandle slam for the win!!
Winners: Road Dogg and X-Pac by pinfall
HHH comes out and they all beat on RD, so X-Pac comes out and heel kicks HHH.  It's like a DX reunion. Then X-Pac and Road Dogg get beat on until Kane comes out and chokeslams Chyna!!!
