Super Bowl VII

Maine Veins
Idaho Bags  40
DENVER- "Way to go, Idaho!" That was the chant echoing from the crowd at Mile High Stadium that was made up mostly of Bag-heads as their Idaho Bags became the first team ever to capture a second WFFL Super Bowl. Kordell Stewart led the way once again and was named MVP. Maine attempted something no one else has ever tried - to go all the way through the playoffs without calling in a team, and win. League commissioner Wagner wasn't sure Coach Moore knew his team was there. As it turns out, they hardly were. Only able to score a measly 6 points, the Veins had no hope of keeping up with the high scoring Bags. "In a game like this, you have to score touchdowns, and we just didn't execute" said Moore, still trying to shake that Bastyr jinx.

In the winning locker room, President Clinton was on the phone with Coach Bastyr, congratulating him on his teams accomplishment. Before he hung up he added, "I've always been a huge fan of Ho-Bags. Ever since I was a young boy, I've tried to see as many of them as I could. You're definitely my favorite team!"

Congratulations Idaho Bags!
