PORTLAND- Lady luck was on the side of the Oregon Donors this week as coach Wagner made a last minute change after hearing reports of a benched receiver. He put in James Stewart, who went on to score 5 TDs! Brad Johnson throwing a TD to himself couldn't even help the Faults, as the Donors hand them their first loss and take the lead in the total points race.

SALISBURY- In a low scoring, defensive battle, the Burgers broke their losing streak with a miraculous Irvin TD on Monday Night. After watching their 13-7 lead tuned into a 17-13 deficit, they turned to Mr. Coke Head, and he delivered. This was the Steaks' third loss in a row after starting 4-0.

BOISE- The visiting Iowa Bundle forgot to bring their whole team with them on this trip to Idaho, and thus lost their 7th straight. The seats reserved for Pickens and Wheatley went unused, costing the Bundle at least 6 points. Coach Smith is starting to prepare his Pro Bowl lineup.

TRENTON- The Pants were handed a victory this week as Maine coach Moore decided to bench Sanders (28 pts) and Fryar (17 pts). If either one plays, Maine wins. If both play, Oregon finishes second in high points three weeks in a row.

KEY LARGO- It looked good on paper, but "that's why they play the games". Hawaii's big 3 went 0-fer again, preventing a very minor comeback from taking place.
