Karim Abdul-Jabbar scores 3
in a loss for the Idaho Bags
BANGOR- The Veins recover nicely from last week's embarrasing loss to pummel the hapless Iowa Bundle 37-24. Maine looks like a strong team heading into the stretch, while Iowa is just inches away from playoff death.

MAUI- Hawaii loses it's first home game of the season, but this one seemed preventable. Last week's trade with Iowa sent Rison, a 10 point scorer packing for Pickens, a goose-egg. Result: Salisbury wins by 9. The Punch seem to be lacking focus.

TRENTON- The Oregon Donors get lucky again, winning their sixth straight game, this one a Monday Night comeback. Down by 4, they got 5 from Blanchard to win.

BIRMINGHAM- The Burgers need to get their heads on straight if they want to make the playoffs this season. They should be 5-3 and tied for first, but poor coaching has them 3-5 and stuggling. San Andreas, on the other hand, lucked into another victory to stay atop the West.

BOSIE- The Keys make a major statement, stomping out the Bags 45-31. Florida is the first team to win high points twice this year and they remain tied for first in the East. Idaho looked good, but not good enough.

Next Week's Matchups: **** News & Notes:
Idaho (+2) at Oregon New Jersey owner Ken Kealey announced this week the addition of his new
New Jersey (+12) at Salisbury co-coach, Sean Collin who was born last Wednesday, Oct 15. Maybe Sean
Iowa (+8) at San Andreas can help his dad turn things around this year. :-)
Birmingham (+6) at Florida Congratulations to the Kealeys from everyone in the WFFL!
Hawaii (-4) at Maine
