Joey Galloway pulls in one of his 3 TD's in Iowa's first win of '97.
PORTLAND- Oregon's 6 game winning streak came to a screeching halt at the hands of Kordell and the Idaho Bags. The Bags totally contained the Donor offense and pulled to within a game and a half of first place.

SALISBURY- The Steaks regain the lead, however slim, in the total points race by smoking the pants 30-20 and also take sole posession of first place in the East.

SAN ANDREAS- Finally!! The Iowa Bundle won their first game of the year, and they did it the way they were expected to all year...BIG. Favre finally got some support from his teammates, and the Iowa D held the Faults to just 10 points. The Bundle's playoff hopes, although microscopic, are still alive.

KEY LARGO- The Burgers get lucky this week. They once again forget to call in a lineup, sitting Kaufman and the Oakland D. But Florida couldn't take advantage. Aikman goes down early and the Keys RB's are shutout in a 29-22 loss.

BANGOR- Maine's misfortunes continue. No one in their right mind would sit Elway for McNair, but benching 26 points hurts. Hawaii moves closer to first place in the West.
