x = Clinched playoff berth, y = Clinched division |
Barry Sanders scores and 80 yard TD for the playoff bound Maine Veins. |
DES MOINES- The Punch take
a week off to rest their players for the playoffs, and miss their shot
at high points. Iowa seemed to enjoy this one a little too much.
TRENTON- The Pants accomplish two things this week, they avoid a last place finish in the East and they avoid being the only team to not win a high score prize, even if they had to share it. SAN ANDREAS- The Faults got their revenge on Oregon for the 65-37 drubbing they got in week 7. This time it was San Andreas on top and advancing to the post season, and the Donors going home. |
SAKISBURY- The Steaks are
on a mission. They secured the best record of the year and look unstoppable.
The Veins looked good too, and luckily backed into the playoffs despite
a losing record.
BIRMINGHAM- Way to go, Idaho! The Bags whipped the Burgers and laid claim to the highest points prize. Birmingham fell to last place in the East. |
