Dewayne Washington scores two
TDs for the defending champs,
Idaho Bags.
BIRMINGHAM- The Burgers stay alive and bury the Veins at the same time.  They will be rooting for Maine this week, though because they need to beat Florida AND have Iowa lose to the Veins to keep playing.

JERSEY CITY- Jake the snake was awesome, but he couldn't knock off the Pants by himself.  New Jersey is 1 win away from the best record ever ('95 Punch: 11-1-1) and only 20 points away from highest points ever ('95 Fingers: 540).  Florida also needs a win AND an Iowa loss.

DES MOINES- Iowa still has a heartbeat, and is the only team left that controls its own destiny.  A win in Maine or a San Andreas loss puts them in.

BOISE- Why can't anyone beat the Bags?  With a win against Hawaii, Idaho will get the bye and be one game away from defending their Super Bowl title.

MAUI- Hawaii rolls over the Faults and takes them out of contention.  The Punch needs to win at Idaho to lock up their 4th consecutive division title.

Next Week's Match Ups:
New Jersey (-7) at Salisbury Possible division championship preview.
Hawaii (-4) at Idaho Actual division title game.
Birmingham (+3) at Florida  Two 4-8 teams playing with playoff implications?
San Andreas (+8) at Oregon  Meaningless.
Iowa (-10) at Maine Meaningless for one, life or death for the other.
