Results will be available Tuedsay afternoons. This is also when mailings will go out.

Plus split of roster move money for winning division in the Pro Bowl.

The draft will be 15 rounds and will be held prior to the first game of the NFL season.
Draft order to be determined by a lottery where each name pulled gets to choose his spot in the draft order.
There are NO restrictions on QB/WR combinations.
1997 Draft date: Thursday, Aug 28, 7:00 at League Headquarters.

Each team will protect one player from the previous year's roster.
The protected player will be announced prior to the draft, but may be decided after draft order is determined.
A player may NOT be protected for two years in a row (even by different teams).

Roster size may range from 13 to 17 players.
Trades are allowed. Teams may trade for future draft picks, but only for ones in the following year.
All trades during the draft are legal as long as both teams can still finish within the roster size limits. Once a team reaches its limit during the draft, that team is finished drafting.
To finalize a trade, it must be turned in to the commissioner.
Players may also be acquired off the waiver wire. During the first 2 weeks, all free agent acquisitions will require the release of a current roster member. After 2 weeks, if a team is under the maximum roster size, it may acquire a free agent without releasing another player.
To make a free agent acquisition, a team must contact the acting commissioner either by phone, face or email. When leaving messages on the machine, please state the current date and time. Free agents are available on a first come, first derved basis.
The free agent market is open from kickoff of week 1 to kickoff of week 13. No other time restraints apply.
Trading deadline is kickoff of week 10.
Free agent acquisitions will cost $1. Trades cost $1 per player/draft pick moved.

The league is divided into two divisions (East & West) consisting of 5 teams each.
There will be 13 regular season games and 3 rounds of playoffs.
Six teams make the playoffs: the top two teams from each division and the next two best teams as wild-cards - if both wild cards come from the same division, the one with the worst record will move to the other division for the playoffs.
Division winners receive a bye during round 1. Both second place teams host a wild-card game in round 1.
Tie breakers for determining playoff seeding:

1 QB
1 Kicker
1 Defense
5 Other offesive backs - Each team can play at least one and no more than 3 RBs and then fill in the remaining slots with WRs and TEs (no more than 2 TEs)

All rosters must be turned in 15 minutes before kickoff on Sundays. Teams not reporting new rosters will play the same team as the previous week.
In the case of Thursday night and Saturday games, teams can turn in only those players playing on that day and turn in the remaining roster on Sunday. Players on a previous week's roster are assumed to be IN for all Thursday & Saturday games unless explicitly benched by the coach.
Each owner is responsible for getting his lineup to the commissioner on time.

During the 17th week of the NFL season, each division will turn in a lineup for the WFFL Pro Bowl.
The owners of the last place teams in each division will be responsible for turning in the lineup.
