He is an all around good player, his only possible weakness is that he doesn't really depend on his team members, and when things start going bad he always tries to change the flow of the game by himself which often works, but...He also planned on going to America to play basketball, but Anzai-sensei told him to become the best player in Japan first, so now he has become a very determined and focused player.

Like Rukawa, he does not have a lot of stamina, probably because he didn't do sports his first two years in high school.
