Farm, barracks, attack! (sorry, no rematch :)
Mike's computer freezes early and it's all over.
(Ditto for the next game)
Actually we were just testing the computer to see if it would freeze again. I transplanted my trusty Trident 512K ISA card from the CyberKula computer and this time I lasted the whole game (though the screen scrolls a bit sluggishly). I'll try setting up the Stealth I got from the swapmeet in CyberKula.
8/3/97 - 3 vs. 3, FFA
Jason attacks and kills Libert early. Mike builds up, but doesn't press his advantage. Jason secretly mines the middle and Mike runs out of gold.
8/2/97 - Nowhere 3
Jason gets 9:30, Mike gets 12:00, Cliff gets 2:00. Mike cuts to 10:30 and takes the mine. Jason cuts to 8:30 and takes the mine. But Timmy overruns Jason's town. Lance's cats take out Cliff's hall. Timmy mines merrily away on the bottom left while Lance takes out three guys with blood lusted ogres (bum!).
Jason and Mike go farm, barracks. Lance and Timmy go peon attack. They double-team and kill Jason's peon, then Mike quits.
7/26/97 - Baddest3
Hey, is it our fault that Timmy and Harold got dropped? :)
So Lance's team might have won or something, but it doesn't count because we were only testing Timmy's computer to see if it wouldn't lock up. (Damn System Agent!) :)
4 against 3, is that fair? Plus those crooks allied against us in a FFA! (So what if we allied too?)
Libert finally returns from China. It becomes a death and decay, blizzard, rune, etc. battle for control of the middle. Lance's team somehow overcomes Avatar's defense and finally takes out our peons.
7/25/97 - 3 Player Fan, FFA
BADDEST blasts to the middle, but Kula Kat tries to blizzard peons. BADDEST's sapper and blood-lust attacks eventually destroy Kula's mage tower and castle, but suffers heavy losses. Avatar finally blows through and starts mining gold, but ignores BADDEST's peons merrily mining gold. Kula directs Avatar's footmen to nail Baddest's peons. Baddest goes after Avatar's town. Meanwhile Kula's last footmen invades Baddest's town to nail his peons and last ogre. Baddest cries foul and leaves (he was dead anyway :). Avatar controls the middle mine with footmen, Gryphons, and cats and wins the game.
7/23/97 - Battle Royal, Game 1
BADDEST kills Jim 3:16's peon immediately, but Kula Kat goes barracks first and kills Avatar_HI and BADDEST who were building townhalls.
Kula Kat and Jim 3:16 secret ally against BADDEST who starts the game on high. Both Kula and BADDEST build two barracks, no hall. BADDEST holds off Kula's multi-grunt attack, but Jim starts to tower BADDEST. Jim drops, but Kula finally kills off BADDEST.
BADDEST finally gets his chance to go one on one against Kula. Kula's peon attacks BADDEST's peon and kills him. THE END!
BADDEST goes barracks first with no farm. Kula moves to different corner and builds barracks, farm. BADDEST attacks with peon, but doesn't have enough gold to build another grunt.
BADDEST goes barracks first. Kula goes mill first and towers BADDEST's barracks. Kula's tower destroy's BADDEST's barracks while BADDEST holds his grunt and peon out of range. Finally BADDEST's grunt and peon attack and chase Kula's peon round and round the tower:) They almost kill the peon but are eventually killed by the tower.
