Or, things I do when I'm not playing hockey.

I have loved computer games since I first played Temple of Apshai on my old Atari 400.  I must admit to being an old school gamer though.  Real time is changing the face of PC gaming, and I fear change.  Personally I will be happy to stick to games like CIV 2, Heroes of Might and Magic, and Master of Orion.  But I still must admit I do play some real-time games like Diablo, Starcraft and Age of Empires.  Below are some links to games I really enjoy:

  Its not all paper and electrons for me.  I played chess all throughout high school, and still do play whenever I get the chance.  I have a rather large LEGO collection of which I am very proud. I also enjoy card games of skill and chance and am currently on the quest for the perfect recipe for the world's best manhattan and martini.  But alas these concerns will have to be dealt with after the site expands.

  I first got into MtG when my fiancée decided that we should try it out as a fun 'couple' thing to do that I might actually enjoy.  That was back when The Dark was just ending, and the rest, as they say, is history.  I have bought at least a box of every expansion since, and our collection now spans well over 9000 cards.  Check out some of the links below to see how WotC went from tiny company to gaming megalith by selling small pieces of cardboard stock.

  In particular the Sony Playstation,  This is the machine I use to get my twitch fix with games like Gran Turismo 1 or 2 and Resident Evil 2.  But every once in a while a game comes along that reminds you that console systems are not all pretty graphics and caffeine

induced reaction times.  For me this game was Monster Rancher, quite possibly my

favorite PS game of all time.

With all the RTS games out there things have been kind of lean for us turn based             dinosaurs.  But, showing proof of God's existence, Alan Emrich (Former Guide book author extraordinare) has started working on Master of Orion 3!
