The following faq may answer any questions you have about the contest. If it does not, feel free to email me, Censu, at [email protected].

Q: What is the deal with this contest anyway?
A: FortuneCity is a community that thrives on citizen interaction. This contest is another way for residents to interact with FC as well as take advantage of FortuneCity's generosity towards giving away prizes. This contest was created and maintained by district minister of Olympia, sports district, Censu. This contest has been approved by a FortuneCity official so claims of the winner receiving a real prize in genuine. This contest caters to motorsport fans, but also to any resident looking to win a prize.

Q: Who is eligible for this contest anyway?
A: Any FortuneCity resident can enter this contest. You don't even need to know anything about F1 to enter; just rely on your predicting abilities and you may win a prize! I will not disqualify contestants who are not FortuneCity residents or those who did not enter their url, but they will not be eligible to win the prizes if they win in November. Winners will be checked to make sure that they are in fact, residents of FC. So there is lots of time to sign up if you are not a member!

Q: What could I win?
A: Since the contest if fairly long, the prizes are not yet finalized. The prizes would be provided generously by FortuneCity. Up for grabs already is a Formula One software program detailing all the races and the history, as well as a couple of souveneir T-shirts from the Monaco GP. Depending on the popularity of the contest, there may be other prizes awarded. I will do my best to obtain as many prizes as possible. The winner will receive a personalized award graphic to display and probably be mentioned on FC's Grand Central Station.

Q: Can I enter the contest after the season has started?
A: Yes, you still can if you don't mind the headstart the other contestants already have!

Q: What if I miss the submitting deadline?
A: Unfortunately, you will be left out of the particular Grand Prix. But you can still submit your entry for the next race when available. Check the contest homepage for the entry deadline for each Grand Prix.

Q: Can I submit the same entry once for use in all the races?
A: The entry you submit is good for the upcoming Grand Prix. You will need to submit a new entry for the next Grand Prix. Don't worry, it only takes a few seconds!

Q: What if I will be away or unavailable to make an entry?
A: If you will be away on vacation or something of the sort, you can send an early personal email submission to [email protected] detailing which Grand Prix you are submitting for and the appropriate entries. If at all possible, please using the automated submitting form.

Q: I sent my submission early and I would like to change it. Can I?
A: You may make one change to your submission as long as it is received prior to the deadline. Simply re-submit your entry.

Q: What if a driver I selected misses the race?
A: Unfortunately, that is the same as your driver not finishing in the points system. If the driver is announced to miss the race or qualifying before the contest deadline, you can re-submit your entry.

Q: What if there are driver changes during the season?
A: I will update the list as needed.

Q: What if there are changes in the official results?
A: Hope it doesn't happen, because that means double the work for me!

Q: How will I find my current standing?
A: To check your current standing after a race, go to the results section of this site. When the results are updated, I will post a message on the Olympia district message board and on the homepage of this site. Also, you have the option of joining a mailing list where you will receive news about the updates and any other important contest info. The final contest winner will be notified by email.

Q: How do I keep someone from submitting an entry in my name?
A: Two pieces of information will help validate your entry. You will be asked to enter your email and FortuneCity url with your name. Therefore, it is important that these two pieces of information remain consistent. If you need to make a change, you will need to email me with your new request as well as the old information. It is optional to enter your url once you are registered but you need to still enter the same name and email.

Q: How do I quit this contest?
A: If you want to give up the chances of winning free prizes, simply stop submitting entries and let your standing dwindle. You can also send an email to remove your name from the competition.

Email the contest administrator and Olympia district minister Censu, with questions or comments regarding this contest.
