Coming from the legendary Hart family, Bret had some big shoes to fill. Son of the wrestling legend Stu Hart, Bret began training at a young age in "The Dungeon", the basement of the Hart home. Bret made his pro debut in 1976 in Canada. He wresled for his father's Stampede Wrestling for a few years before moving on to stardom in the World Wrestling Federation. He won his first Intercontinental Championship from Curt Hennig in 1991, and his first WWF World Heavyweight Championship in 1992 from "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Bret Hart left the WWF in late 1997 amid controversy, and the long time WWF mainstay signed with WCW. While in WCW, he won 3 US Titles, and defeated Bill Goldberg. Bret Hart has nothing left to prove because he truly is "The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be".
