This picture of Sunny and his handler appeared as the cover of "Dogs In Canada" in July of 1983 to commemorate Sunny becoming Top Dog All Breeds in Canada for 1982. He did so by breaking the existing record and becoming the winningest showdog in Canadian history to that point. In this 'gone fishing' photo Sunny and his handler, the late Garrett Lambert were dipping their lines off the dock at the home of Sunny's owners, Carol and Frank Felice of North Bay, Ontario. Though Sunny had earned the right to rest on his laurels at this point he did come out of retirement to win a few BIS in the states and to win the ESAA national.

In all he had a record of 52 All Breed BIS's in Canada and 6 in the USA as well as winning both the Canadian and U.S. National Specialties.

Sunny appears in the pedigrees of many of today's top winning dogs.
