It all started when he was body building in Venice when someone told him he should be a wrestler... the rest is history.  One of the best loved stars in professional wrestling, Sting has held many titles in his incredibly successful career.  Shrouded in controversy, Sting looms on the fringe of the WCW vs NWO battle lines, and was a member of the Wolfpac. With the recent moves the Wolfpac made, where will Sting go? Good or bad? Loud or quiet?

He's combined all three of his past personas - the cockiness of the blonde surfer dude, the crow look and the Wolfpac's loudness.   Dressed in black (and red) and wielding a baseball bat, Sting has created a dark aura that has everyone intimidated by his silence.  Master of the Scorpion Deathlock which he learnt whilst in Japan, Sting has won fans over with his magnetic charisma and tenacious attitude. Not too mention he looks so cute with his black, white (and red) facepaint and brooding disposition.

   He has carved out two highly successful fitness centers in Atlanta with his good friend and co-owner, Lex Luger. Rumour has it that he has sold his share of the fitness centers. But like I said, it's only a rumour.

   When not hanging around in the rafters or wielding his baseball bat, Sting enjoys riding his Harley, driving tractors, off-road jeeps and playing golf.

Sting played baseball, football, basketball, hockey and soccer in Junior High through college.

Sting the singer and WCW's Sting are very good friends and he has also trained 'Marvelous' Marc Mero.

His favourite food is chicken with rice and broccoli. His favourite snacks are peanuts and pretzels.

While stuck in airports, he likes to play Virtua Fighter

What gives him a high is seeing little Stingers paint their faces like his and what brings him down is people who tell him they like him then tell someone else behind his back that they think he is a jerk.

His favourite vacation spot is St. Martin.

What motivates him is a great workout, a good swim followed by a hot shower.

'It was a great day' - acting with Terry "Hulk" Hogan on "Thunder in Paradise".

His favourite toy as a kid was his bike.

What bothers him is couch potatoes - "get up and get in shape world!"

What bores him is one dimensional people.

He wishes he had more time to work on convincing people to trust each other.

His favourite face paint design on any other wrestler is the spider design on Road Warrior/LOD Animal's face.

He also works for enviromental conservation, wildlife conservation and for the Make-A-Wish and the Starlight Foundations.

He has donated most of the jackets he used to wear to the ring to various charities.

He either has/had a monster truck and also either has/had a race car.

It was Sting's idea to arrive from the rafters with his Crow persona.

Before he got into wrestling, Steve was a bartender, a bouncer, and co-owner of a health club. He was also an aspiring actor. In fact, he auditioned for the role of Ogre in Revenge of the Nerds. Steve had three callbacks for the role, despite no previous acting classes or even any on-camera experience.

He once starred in a Burger King commercial years ago with an English accent. 'I like to do accents. I like to imitate people. I like to do different characters'.
